Hollywood Bowl, the iconic outdoor venue, replaces VIP box seating with chairs that dry quicker
Hollywood Bowl is the largest outdoor amphitheater in the United States. The iconic venue near Hollywood, California has hosted some of the greatest names in music since the 1920s and continues to welcome 17,376 people for outdoor musical events year-round.
In 2015, the Los Angeles design firm Rio Clementi Hale Studios hired Habour Outdoor, an Australian outdoor furniture manufacturer, to supply 3,700 chairs for the lower VIP box seats. These chairs needed to be stylish and durable as well as withstand the many demands of an outdoor environment. Harbour Outdoor and their product designer Nicholas & Harrison Condos chose Batyline ISO for their Pacific folding chair hybrid and Clovelly hybrid chairs.

In the past, when there was rain before an event, the guests would ask the staff to dry the seats, causing more work and chaos for the staff. Now, thanks to Batyline ISO, the chairs dry very quickly. Staff can now focus on other ways of achieving guest satisfaction besides drying seats.
