The Jardines School in Hong Kong has chosen Soltis 86 Serge Ferrari shade material for its playground sunscreens.
The French Jardines Campus School in Hong Kong is required to provide sun protection for the playground in accordance with the following criteria:
- UV protection
- Thermal shield
- Breathable materials to let air in and avoid a "greenhouse effect"
- Lightweight material that can be quickly and easily removed.
- Extra tough material in the long term.
Our Soltis 86 product satisfied all these criteria.
Cocoon Concept has therefore combined our product with marine fastening systems for swift assembly and disassembly: the sun protection material can be taken down in less than 20 minutes! In a country with a subtropical climate where typhoons occur regularly, this combination has proved to be very effective.
Two other French International School campuses in Hong Kong will also soon be equipped with Serge Ferrari shade screens: Blue Pool and Tseung Kwan O.
